DR. KANA ROY CHOUDHARY

Did schooling in Pratt Memorial School, Kolkata. Graduation from Presidency College and Post-Graduation in Physiology from Science College, Kolkata. Did B.Ed. from Nagpur University.

Started working for Ph.D.and worked on the "Effects of Thyroid hormone on Brain". Published papers in Science journals and presented papers in the Science Congress.

As a student, was a member of the school basket-ball team .Also did rifle shooting and was Junior National Champion for three consecutive years in rifle shooting . Selected for the World Shooting Championship in 1966.

Started teaching career by teaching the children of KG classes in Mount Carmel School.

Joined Centre Point School, Katol Road, in 1989 as a Science Teacher and taught upto Class XII. Was promoted as Vice Principal from 1998 and as Principal from 2001.

Attended various workshops and conferences, specially in. Adolescence Education and related problems. Has strong analytical, logical and counselling skills.
