I have more than 20 years of experience in the field of technical translation. I have worked as a free-lance translator for German language since 1995, providing quality translation service to major companies around Pune, e.g.Telco, Syntel Ltd, Archivista Engineering Pvt.Ltd., KTA Spindle Toolings pvt.Ltd.

I have also provided free-lance translation services to translation bureaus in Pune and Banglore, e.g. BITS Pune, BITS Banglore, Vinsys IT, Sprachbruecke.

I have done technical translations in various domains like banking, software, mechanical, auto sector, legal documents etc.

I have also conducted corporate training and private coaching classes for German language for school and college students and other private individuals and professionals.

I have also done two levels of French at Alliance francaise de Poona, Pune and learnt Kathak for a short while and undertaken two Gandharva Mahavidyala Exams for the same.

I am mother to a 17 year old girl, who is also Kathak dancer and a 10 year old Down’s syndrome boy. Being a mother to a special child, a lot of my time is also invested in finding out more about his issues and attending workshops and learning from therapists about special education etc.

My husband is Marine Engineer and works on board merchant navy vessels, mainly crude oil carriers and off shore vessels as well.
