DR. PAULA GOEL
Dr Paula Goel has done her post graduation in paediatrics from Pune University and further specialization in adolescent paediatrics from Kerala university. She has worked as a paediatrician since the last 17 years and in the adolescent paediatrics since last 11 years. She has a special interest in adolescent obesity and its multiple problems and lifestyle diseases in the young.
In July 2008 started multispecialty Fayth Clinic The teen centre conducts adolescent OPD, adolescent vaccination, counselling services and special customized fitness and exercise programs for teenager, The clinic is equipped with a state of the art fitness centre conducting special exercise programs for teenagers and managing the problem of adolescent obesity.
The centre is also actively taking up preventive health strategies for teenagers especially in dealing with lifestyle problems in the young
She conducts different workshops for teenagers , parents and colleges related top medical and social; problems faced by teenagers. She also conducts workshops on Role of parents in Adolescent health. She is also the trustee of FAITH HEALTH AND TEEN CARE FOUNDATION , charitable NGO devoted to programs related to adolescent issues and health of senior citizens. She is actively involved in research on lifestyle diseases in adolescents and youth. She has been featured in many press reviews on adolescent obesity both nationally and internationally including the Agencie French Press (AFP) .She is an active member of Adolescent chapter of Indian Academy of Paediatrics and certified national trainer for training paediatricians in adolescent medicine.
