Supercourse was originally funded three times by NASA, and the National Library of Medicine.  They built a “Library of Lectures” which is like the Carnegie Free library, but instead of sharing books they share out best slides and lectures.  They have the highest global health page ranks for any educational institution and also are the highest ranking global health educational project on the web.
20 Nobel Prize winners, 60 IOM members, 45 NAS members and other top people have contributed lectures: Gil Omenn, AAAS, Vint Cerf, the father of the Internet, Elias Zerhouni, former head of NIH, etc have contributed lectures. Library of Alexandria WHO-NCD-Supercourse Certificate course:  Supercourse is developing a global WHO Non-communicable disease certificate course for work force capacity building for NCDs.  The Supercourse provides “curriculum in a box”, e.g. template lectures about NCDs that can be modified for local teaching in Engineering Schools, Nursing Schools, Medical Schools.  Global Internet based testing will assure that a certificate in Qatar is the same as in Pittsburgh, Tokyo and Mali. Dr Ronald has given this DVD free of cost to be distributed to any individual who will benefit from these lectures .The only stipulation is that each person makes 5 more copies and distributes to others who continue the chain of making five copies. Many countries in the world have distributed these copies.
AACCI has taken up the responsibility of free distribution of this DVD in India as the concept of spreading knowledge .Remember JYOT se JYOT JALATE CHALO…
The AACCI Executive Director Dr Swati Bhave is actively involved in the Indian Supercourse network for last many years. Please send us a list of 5 names with their email ids so that we can follow up with them. Please find people who will continue this chain.
Once we get the list from you we will courier the free DVD to you .please send your postal address.
